Cast
Sarah Seekamp
Sarah has performed on stage across Canada as well as in Australia. She is a musical theatre triple threat with the vibrancy of a singing diva, and the subtle shadings of Vermeer on her serious acting roles. In October 2017 she will be playing the lead in a Vancouver production of Cabaret. Sarah is excited to be joining this inspiring cast of women to bring this beautiful story to life.
Kelly Sheridan
A graduate of SFU’s theatre department and the Arts Club Actor’s Intensive, Kelly is an Associate Producer of Genus Theatre. Kelly also has over 20 years of professional experience in voice over. Most notably, she has played the voice of Barbie™ in the majority of Mattel’s movies and Starlight Glimmer in My Little Pony. She is happy to be working on another Tomo Suru project after the success of The Laramie Project (2016).
Jennifer Tong
Jennifer Tong is graduating from Capilano University’s Acting for Stage and Screen program this Spring. She is incredibly excited and grateful to enter the industry with such a wonderful production. She wants to thank director, Gerald Williams, and assistant director, Justin Anthony, for this unbelievable opportunity. She’d also like to thank her lovely friends, family, teachers and classmates from Capilano for inspiring her daily and feeding her passion. Other credits include; Fawlty Towers (Exit 22), Christmas Carol (Exit 22) and Beautiful Words (Arbutus Studios).
Lucia Forward
Lucia Forward is honoured to have the chance to tell the stories of the unique and powerful women that are portrayed in String of Pearls. She is grateful to share the stage with such a brilliant cast of female powerhouses. Lucia is a graduate of Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts in Toronto, Ontario. Recent credits include: Spring Awakening (Tomo Suru Players), The Rocky Horror Show (Geekenders), 7 Stories (Sour Dog Productions), and Stuff Happens (Randolph Academy). Lucia is a CTC award winner and Ovation Award nominee her portrayal of Mungojerrie in Cats! (Fighting Chance Productions). This one goes out to my mom for being a role model of strength, perseverance, and kindness.
